Pheasants Haunt is a spacious four-bedroom family holiday home on the beautiful South Devon coast, offering relaxed accommodation for up to 10 guests, plus two infants.

Set within a private enclosed garden, the property is ideal for families and groups looking for space to relax together while being within easy reach of the coast and some of South Devon’s best-loved attractions.

The house offers four comfortable bedrooms arranged across two floors, with a flexible mix of king, super king, double and single beds. There are two family bathrooms within the main house, together with an additional shower and WC in the pool room.

At the heart of the home are generous living and dining spaces, a well-equipped kitchen and plenty of room for families to enjoy time together. The spacious, open-plan lounge and dining area provides plenty of room for everyone to relax together, with multiple sofas and armchairs creating a comfortable and sociable space. 

Outside, guests can enjoy the private garden, patio and heated outdoor swimming pool, which is heated during the main season. There is also a dedicated outdoor bar and seating area, perfect for drinks, al fresco dining and relaxing together in the garden..

Pheasants Haunt is particularly well positioned for exploring the English Riviera and South Hams. Broadsands Beach is approximately a 10-minute walk away, while the Dartmouth Steam Railway provides a wonderful way to travel towards Kingswear and Dartmouth. Greenway, the former holiday home of Agatha Christie, is also just a short drive away. Families, and well-behaved dogs are very welcome.

Parking is located down the driveway at the rear of the property. From here, there is sloped access to the rear gate and ground-level access around the property. The property can also be accessed via the front entrance gate from the road, or via the side gate at the driveway entrance.

The garden is completely enclosed, offering a private and secure outdoor space for families with children and guests travelling with dogs.

There is a convenient footpath at the end of the road, close to the lamppost, which provides a pleasant walking route towards the beach. The path passes beneath a small viaduct and continues through a permissive-access field before reaching the main road to Broadsands Beach and coastal paths.

Pheasants Haunt enjoys a fantastic South Devon location, combining the peace of a quiet residential setting with the coast, countryside and many of the English Riviera’s best attractions close by.

Broadsands Beach is around a 10-minute walk across the fields, making it easy to enjoy coastal walks, fishing, water sports and relaxed seaside eateries. Families will find plenty nearby, including Splashdown Quaywest Waterpark around 10 minutes away. Greenway, Agatha Christie’s former holiday home, is also close by, while Dartmouth and Totnes are around 15 minutes away, offering independent shops, cafés, restaurants and plenty of character.

Torquay is ideal for harbourside dining, museums, theatres and shopping, while Brixham is well worth visiting for its colourful fishing harbour, fresh seafood and maritime atmosphere. With beaches, boat trips, steam railway journeys, coastal walks, markets and family attractions all nearby, there is plenty to enjoy without travelling far.

Pheasants Haunt is situated in a quiet residential area, so we kindly ask guests to be considerate of our neighbours, particularly when using the garden, pool and outdoor areas in the evening.
